Keith  Morris

Keith Morris is a highly qualified dance teacher in his own right. He is a Fellow, Life Member and Examiner of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing. One of the oldest association in the United Kingdom.

 

Keith has been a qualified dance teacher since 1977 and full time since 1981.  During his time as a professional he has traveled the world demonstrating, lecturing, adjudicating  and teaching.  Training the Dutch Latin Champion 1982, 83 and 84

 

He has won:

  • The World Cabaret Challenge

  •  North East of England Professional Ballroom and Latin Championships

  • North of Britian Professional Ballroom

  • Finalists in the United Kingdom Open Professional 10 Dance Championships

  •  Finalist in the United Kingdom Closed Ballroom and Latin Professional Championships

  • Semi Finalist in the British National Ballroom and Latin Professional Championships.

 

1993 saw Keith captain Liverpool to win Come Dancing and win runners up in 1994. In 2002 he was nominated for the Clasique De Danse Award.

In 2016 he was awarded a life membership to the United Kingdom Alliance for services to dance and the association. 

​

He also holds a level 4 teaching assistant qualification with SEN, and a level 3 first aid qualification.  Understanding Autism CPD from Kent University.

​

He also trains couples for competitive dancing and professionals for examinations as well as running classes for all levels from beginners to advanced, private lessons are also available.

​

Together with regular social nights at Sutton Cricket Club.  He holds two Dinner and Dances a year for various charities at Reeve Court, Stratton Drive, St Helens.

 

In the past he has supported Willow Brook Hospice, Africa's Children  in Education, the Dancers Forget Me Not Fund, the Parkinson's Association, Alder Hey Organ Transplant Unit and Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
